Resume Bloom helps you create, edit, save and share resumes. This policy describes the free, offline version of the app, including its optional photo and professional-link features.

Information you provide

The app processes information you choose to enter, including your name, professional title, contact details, education, work experience, skills, projects, certifications, achievements, languages and other resume details. You may also enter professional links, a career preference, years of experience, a target department and job descriptions for writing guidance.

If you choose a photo template, you can select an image and save a cropped photo. You may also choose a Resume Bloom JSON backup to import or a saved PDF to share. The app accesses the files you select through Android's file picker; it does not scan your photo library or other files.

How information is used and stored

Your information is used to build resume previews, provide local writing prompts and keyword checks, save drafts and resume copies, and create the exports you request. Pasted job descriptions are saved with the draft and included in its backup, but are not placed in the resume PDF.

Drafts, saved resume copies, preferences and cropped photos are stored in the app's private storage on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your resume content, photos or job descriptions. The app has no Internet permission and does not include accounts, advertisements, analytics, advertising trackers, payment collection or an AI model/service.

Exporting, sharing and opening links

When you export a PDF or JSON backup, you choose the destination using Android's system tools. A JSON backup can contain your resume information, cropped photo, preferences and pasted job description. A PDF contains the resume information and, for a supported photo design, the photo you chose to include.

When you share a saved PDF, you select the file and the receiving application or recipient. The receiving application is given access to that selected file. If you choose a cloud storage destination or sharing service, that service may receive and store the exported information under its own privacy policy.

Opening a professional link or email address launches an external browser or email application. That application and the destination website handle information according to their own policies. Resume Bloom does not automatically send an email or publish your resume.

We do not sell your personal information or automatically upload your resumes to employers or other recipients.

Permissions and device services

The current app uses Android's file picker, print service and share sheet for user-requested actions. It does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or broad storage access. Android and services you choose may process information independently under their own settings and policies.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you change or delete it. You can edit or clear resume fields, remove a photo, and delete saved resume copies within the app. Deleting a saved copy does not necessarily clear the current draft.

To remove all app-local drafts, saved resumes, photos and preferences, use Android Settings to clear Resume Bloom's app storage, or uninstall the app. The app is configured to disable Android's automatic app backup.

PDFs, JSON backups, original images and copies you exported or shared are separate from app-local storage. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not delete those files or copies held by other applications, cloud services or recipients. Delete them separately where they are stored. There is no Resume Bloom account to delete.

Security

App-private storage and Android's device protections help restrict access to local data. No storage method provides absolute security. Protect your device and exported files, and share resumes and backups only with people and services you trust. The app does not add password protection to exported PDFs or JSON backups.

Support communications

If you email dhilipkumar3140@gmail.com, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and retain it only as needed for support and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Email is handled by the email providers involved. Do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Children

Resume Bloom is a resume-building tool and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly request children's information through a server or account system. If you have a concern about information sent to us through support, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a revised effective date. Any future data practices will be described before they apply to that version of the app.
